and to answer gidget's question: this fabric was not dyed using leaf rubbings. :) it is fabric that i hand-dyed using fiber reactive dyes, then decorated by putting leaves under the fabric and rubbing with dye sticks (sometimes called fabric pastels). this is a super easy project that you can use on all sorts of fabric, and even ella was able to make good rubbings as long as i held the fabric for her.
